Shadow of a Doubt

Quiet evening last night watching a old Hitchcock movie with the family, filling up the hours stuck at home. 40s black and white film of a very different era.

Then a random line of dialog, from a movie I’ve never seen before, comes across completely familiar. “they’re alive, they’re human beings!”.

Turns out ‘Shadow of a Doubt’ is heavily sampled in in various tracks Skinny Puppy’s Remission album including Far Too Frail and Smothered Hope.

Didn’t expect to connect those two, or introduce the kids to Skinny Puppy that way.
